On December 1, the third China Overseas Chinese Talents Development Congress, jointly organized by the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Fujian Provincial People's Government, opened in Fuzhou, Fujian. As a guest university, Tongji University showcased 24 latest scientific and technological achievements and hosted a promotion session to facilitate the application and transformation of these achievements in Fujian.
During the event, five representative achievements were highlighted as roadshow projects. Prof. Ying Zhou, Director of RISE Lab and ILEE, Dean of the College of Civil Engineering, and Director of Development Planning and Discipline Construction at Tongji University, delivered a report titled "CivilGPT & SeisGPT: Dual Engines for Future CE Engineering Intelligence."

This project includes the CivilGPT knowledge model and the SeisGPT seismic response prediction model. CivilGPT, independently developed by the College of Civil Engineering at Tongji University, is the first educational knowledge model in China to be filed with the National Internet Information Office. It offers multi-scenario services for teaching, research, and engineering training. SeisGPT is an intelligent prediction model for structural responses in seismic engineering, capable of providing second-level predictions of structural seismic responses.

Tongji University Achievements Exhibition Zone
The exhibition zone systematically displayed Tongji University's latest achievements in five major fields, including intelligent construction. Several achievements from our college were featured.

iS3 Digital Platform
Prof. Xiaojun Li introduced the independently developed iS3 Infrastructure Smart Service System, referred to as the "iS3 Digital Platform." This system supports the rapid construction of digital infrastructure and plug-and-play professional applications, providing new support for exploring collaborative models involving multiple stakeholders and intelligent social governance, thereby facilitating the digital transformation of urban governance.

Wall-Climbing Robot for Infrastructure Facade Inspection
The wall-climbing robot, independently developed by Prof. Qingzhao Kong's team, integrates high-definition stereo vision and acoustic perception modules. It can perform tasks such as crack identification, measurement, and hollowing detection on various vertical surfaces, including building exteriors, wind turbine towers, and concrete dam faces, offering technical support for intelligent inspection of buildings and infrastructure.

Integrated Technical System for Floating Concrete Wind Power Platforms
Prof. Zili Zhang's team and Prof. Kequan Yu's team are collaborating with enterprises such as Envision Energy Group to develop an integrated technical system for 18-20 MW floating concrete wind power platforms. This involves research on floating body optimization, coupled nonlinear dynamic modeling and simulation, concrete material performance optimization, reinforcement component and connection design theory, and motion/vibration control technologies. The system aims to provide innovative foundation solutions for deep-sea wind power development.
